John has held senior legal positions with government, universities and private and public companies including the Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Sydney, State Lotteries Office and the Australian Technology Park, Sydney. John was instrumental in establishing both the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Australian Technology Park.
John’s practice is international in nature and he and his firm has instructed local counsel in India on a number of occasions. John takes an active interest in Indian business having attended numerous seminars and business conferences within India. He has also undertaken commercial and litigation matters within India. Both John and his firm have extensive experience in acting for Indian companies both within Australia and India.
John has acted for numerous government and private clients advising in relation real estate development and construction including the Four Seasons, Intercontinental and Shagri La hotels, government in relation to the Grosvenor Place Tower and ATP in relation to the Australian Technology Park.
